Session description: This panel discussion, followed by a Q&A session, will focus on the unique challenges faced by medical students who are First-Generation/Low-Income (FGLI) and/or from backgrounds that are Underrepresented in Medicine (URiM). Our panelists include leaders from diverse medical schools, who will share promising approaches to leveling the playing field in UME. This webinar will provide valuable insights into the unique challenges faced by FGLI/URiM medical students, and will serve as a valuable resource for administrators and educators looking to support these students.
